Anna D. Hartosh Allison, age 89, of Brownsville, Pa., and a resident for the past three years of Adams Personal Care Home in West Brownsville, Pa., passed away on Saturday, March 17, 2007. She was born on September 17, 1917, in Uniontown, Pa., the Daughter of Joseph Hartosh and Mary Olesko Hartosh.

“Ann” was a member of The Historic Church of Saint Peter in Brownsville and the now former Saint Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, Brownsville.

Preceding Ann in death were her Husband, Jack Allison, Parents, five Brothers and four Sisters.

Surviving are her three Children: Richard Allison and his wife Glenna, Martinsburg, West Virginia, Barbara A. Carroll and her husband James, Brownville, Pa., and Mary Katherine “Kathy” Allison, Brownsville, Pa.; three Grandchildren: Alison Carroll-McConnell and her husband Brian McConnell, McMurray, Pa., Keith Allison, Martinsburg, West Virginia, and Nathan Allison, Harpers Ferry, West Virginia; and two Great-Grandsons: Graham McConnell and Andrew McConnell.

Friends will be received in the SKIRPAN FUNERAL HOME, 135 Park Street, Brownsville, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. where a Prayer Service will be held Tuesday, March 20, at 9 a.m.

A Funeral Mass follows at 9:30 a.m. in The Historic Church of Saint Peter in Brownsville with the Rev. Father Vincent Gigliotti as Celebrant.

Interment will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa.
