Anthony M. “Tony” Fugozzotto
Anthony M. “Tony” Fugozzotto, age 50, of Masontown, Pa., died on Friday, March 16, 2007, at the Uniontown Hospital, Uniontown, Pa., surrounded by his loving family. He was born on September 3, 1956, in Uniontown, Pa., the son of Michael A. Fugozzotoo and Ann M. (Blasko) Fugozzotto, who preceded him in death.
“Tony” was a member of All Saints Roman Catholic Church. He was also a member of The Knights of Columbus Fourth Degree, The Italo-American Citizens Club in Masontown and The Sons of Italy in Brownsville, Pa.
He graduated from Albert Gallatin High School Class of 1974.
He was a business partner in Fugozzotto Enterprises and was employed with the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections.
Left to cherish his memory are his fianc?e, Lisa Chatlak, at home; a brother, Mickey Fugozzotto of Smithfield, Pa.; a sister, Judy Fugozzotto Lee and her husband, Harry Lee, of Masontown, Pa.; a nephew, Michael Fugozzotto III and his wife, Elizabeth, a great nephew, Gian Fugozzotto, and a great niece, Darien Fugozzotto, all of Uniontown, Pa.; a special friend, Jerry Spak; and a Godson, Justin Seneri.
Friends will be received in the HAKY FUNERAL HOME INC., 515 North Main Street, Masontown, Pa., today (Monday, March 19, 2007) until 9:30 a.m. when Prayers of Transfer will be said.
A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 a.m. in All Saints Roman Catholic Church, Masontown, with the Rev. Father John Butler and the Rev. Father Wesley Mash as Celebrants.
Interment will follow at Saint Agnes Cemetery, Leckrone, Pa.
Visitation was also held on Saturday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
The Pennsylvania Department of Corrections Honor Guard stood vigil on Saturday evening and Sunday.
The Brownsville Sons of Italy conducted Ritualistic Services in the Funeral Home on Sunday at 2 p.m.
All Saints Parish Vigil Service was conducted on Sunday at 3 p.m.
The Knights of Columbus 4th Degree Honor Guard stood vigil on Sunday from 7 to 8 p.m. and will also serve as his Pallbearers.
