Debra Long Grimm

Debra Long Grimm, 50, of Hopwood, Pa., died Friday, March 16, 2007, at home. She was born April 12, 1956, in Uniontown, Pa., the daughter of Richard Long and Peggy Reynolds Long.

Debra graduated from Laurel Highlands High School with the Class of 1974.

She worked with the State Theatre as a secretary and accounting coordinator and had been a bookkeeper for many years with Smith Lewis Chess & Company LLP.

Debra was preceded in death by an infant brother, Ross E. Long and a step-grandson, Tyler A. Grimm.

In addition to her parents, Debra is survived by her husband, Richard “Dick” Grimm; a daughter, Annie Brown of Pittsburgh, Pa.; two step-sons: Richard Grimm Jr. and Matthew Grimm; a step-daughter, Tiffanie Grimm; five step-grandchildren; a brother, Daniel A. Long and his wife Maureen; and a sister, Linda G. Collins and John Collins and their children, Amanda L. Collins and Emily J. Collins.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the ANDREW D. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME INC., 80 Morgantown Street in Uniontown, Pa.

A Memorial Service celebrating her life will be held on Saturday, March 24, 2007, at 11 a.m. in the COMMUNITY UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, Evans Manor, with the Rev. Roger Howard officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations may be made to the Community United Methodist Church, 1264 West Penn Boulevard, Uniontown, PA 15401 or to ALS, One Station Square, Pittsburgh, PA 15219.
