Romayne E. (Connors) Byers, 79, of Scottdale, Pa. passed away Sunday, March 18, 2007, at her residence. She is survived by her family; children, Arthur R. DeMore and wife Kathy of Mount Pleasant, Pa., H. Susan Rice and fianc? Don Lampo of Scottdale, Roberta “Nellie” Prinkey and husband Barry of Pennsville, Rose Davis and husband Joseph of Scottdale, David L. Byers and wife Joyce of Connellsville, Kathleen E. Crivella and husband John of Tarrs, and Walter E. Byers of Scottdale with whom she resided; 15 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brothers, Lawrence J. Connors and wife Ruby of Springfield, Massachusetts, David J. Connors and wife Lois of Everson, and Arthur N. Connors and wife Eleanor of Scottdale; sisters-in-law, Mildred Connors of Prittstown and Lorene Connors of Lawrenceville, Georgia; nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received in the Robert B. Ferguson Funeral Home, 105 Spring Street, Scottdale, today from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.
