Ann M. Gismondi Burrie
Ann M. Gismondi Burrie, 86, of Uniontown, Pa., passed away on March 19, 2007. She was born on June 13, 1920, in Uniontown, Pa., the daughter of the late Vincenzo and Assunta Gismondi.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry A. Burrie, two sisters, Vera Santello, and Florence Genelli, and a brother, Nick Gismondi.
She is survived by her daughter, Carrie Lion and husband, Patrick of Uniontown; three grandchildren: Patrick K. Lion Jr. and wife, Cara of Uniontown, Nicholas A. Lion of Alexandria, Va., and Abbey L. Lion of Uniontown; three sisters: Margaret Summa and Elizabeth Gismondi both of Uniontown and Rose Calabrase of Jacksonville, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the DOLFI FUNERAL HOME, Uniontown, on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and on Thursday, March 22, 2007, until 9 a.m., at which time a Blessing Service will be held. A Mass of Christian Burial follows at 9:30 a.m., in Saint Therese de Lisieux Roman Catholic Church with the Rev. Father Kenneth G. Zaccagnini, V.F. as Celebrant.
Interment will follow in the LaFayette Memorial Park.
