TRINITY UNITED PRESBYTERIAN CHRUCH, 79 W. Fayette St., Uniontown, continues with the half-hour Lenten Taize service at 7 p.m. today. This is a quiet candlelight service with poems, psalms, prayers and music from the Taize community of France. The public is invited. ST. THOMAS CHURCH, New Salem, will hold a fish dinner Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for lunch specials and from 3 to 6 p.m. for dinners. Baked or fried fish dinners will be served. Take- out meals will be available by calling the social hall on Friday at 724-245-2932.
MASONTOWN CEMETERY is undergoing a spring clean up. All decorations on graves must be removed by Saturday. The Friends of the Masontown Cemetery will meet at 6 p.m. on Monday at the John Maykuth Funeral Home, lower level.
HAYDENTOWN COMMUNITY CENTER will feature round and square dancing with Dave Dahl form 7 to 10 p.m. Friday. It is open to the public. Admission is $4. Kitchen will be open at 6 p.m. serving food and beverages.
ST. MARY CHURCH, Leckrone, will hold a fish dinner Friday from noon to 6 p.m. Fish dinners, sandwiches, shrimp and seafood platters are offered. Take-out orders will be available by calling the hall at 724-737-6788. Friday’s side special is haluski.
