Sue J. Organt
Sue J. Organt, 93, of Fairchance, Pa., died Tuesday, March 20, 2007, in the Uniontown Hospital with her family at her bedside. She was born July 20, 1913, in Masontown, Pa., daughter of the late James Sangston Haught and Minerva Bise Haught.
She was predeceased by eight sisters and brothers.
Surviving are three children: Marino Organt Jr. and his wife, JoAnne of Woodbridge, Virginia, Lois J. Bolander and her husband, James of Crescent City, California and Carol Halterman and her husband, Walter of Fairchance, Pa.; eight grandchildren: Mimi Haynes and her husband, Dan of Tennessee, Marc Organt and his wife, Margaret and Tony Organt and his wife, Kathy all of Virginia, Maria Organt of Illinois, Sandi Lake of Fairchance, Audrey Borytsky and her husband, Mark of Nebraska, Patrick Halterman and his wife, Carla of Fairchance and Cindy Halterman and Harry of Uniontown, Pa., and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was a devoted member of the Fairchance Church of the Brethren and a long-time, well devoted, caregiver at the Wynnwood Commons Apartments in Fairchance, Pa.
The family will receive friends in the GOLDSBORO-TOMI FUNERAL HOME, 21 East Church Street, Fairchance, Pa., on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and Friday, March 23, 2007, until 10 a.m., the hour of service with the Rev. Rory Ruder officiating.
Interment will follow in Mountain View Memorial Park, Brownfield, Pa.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Fairchance Church of the Brethren, 17 Gallatin Avenue, Fairchance, Pa., 15436.
