Vo-tech plans open house
The Fayette County Area Vocational-Technical School will hold an open house from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. today. Students currently in eight or ninth grade are invited to attend, as are parents and guardians.
Occupational trade programs taught at the school include AG/environmental resources, auto body, auto mechanics, trades occupations, carpentry, computer technology, cosmetology, culinary arts, diesel mechanics, electrical construction, graphic arts, health occupations, hospitality and hotel management, heating ventilation and air conditioning, machine production technology, masonry and welding.
Students who participate and view two assigned shops will receive free admission to a spaghetti dinner in the cafeteria.
