By Josh Krysak 1 min read

A 23-year-old Uniontown man was charged today with a host of charges ranging from simple assault of a police officer to possession with intent to deliver cocaine after police found drugs, guns and cash in his possession.

David Onyeana Alum of 75 Cleveland Ave. was charged before Magisterial District Judge Mark L. Blair with two counts of simple assault, two counts of firearms not to be carried without a license, harassment, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, possession of marijuana, possession of crack cocaine, possession with intent to deliver and criminal attempt escape.

Sgt. Jon Grabiak said police discovered a cache of drugs, money and weapons after they were called to a domestic dispute Wednesday night around 10:30 p.m.

Police said Alum attempted to flee the scene on foot and was apprehended by city officers who found the hoard of drugs.
