PennDOT lists schedule
Chris Sleighter, Fayette County maintenance manager with the state Department of Transportation District 12, has announced the following tentative work plan for the week beginning Monday. – Repairs will be performed to the bridge on Outcrop Road.
– Signs will be updated, downed signs will be replaced and work orders will be addressed on various routed throughout the county.
– Shoulder drop-off repairs are scheduled for various routes in the Limestone Hill area.
– Pipe extensions will be installed on state Route 1027 and state Route 1050 in the Limestone Hill area.
– Shoulder repairs and drainage work are scheduled for state Route 3013, Palmer Road.
– Crack-sealing operations are scheduled on state Route 1020, Gallatin Avenue, state Route 51 in the Uniontown area and on state Route 1050, Quail Hill Road.
– Ditch-cleaning operations and head wall adjustments will take place in state Route 40 in the Chalk Hill area.
– Pipe replacement activity is scheduled for state Route 4048, Harmony Church Road.
– Patching is scheduled for state Route 119 and various routes in the Uniontown area, state Route 51 and various routes in the cloverleaf area, state Route 166 from state Route 21 to Brownsville, state Route 21, state Route 857 and in the Smithfield and Masontown areas.
All maintenance activities are conducted as weather permits. PennDOT reminds motorists to drive with caution through all work areas and be alert for signed work zones requiring the use of headlights.
PennDOT has a 24-hour toll-free number for residents to call to report any road maintenance concern.
