Mary Ellen Walters Anderson
Mary Ellen Walters Anderson, 84, of Carmichaels, Pa., died at 7:35 a.m. on Monday, March 26, 2007, in the Precious Moments Personal Care Home, Carmichaels. She was born April 5, 1922, in Carmichaels, Pa., the daughter of the late Aaron Jackson Walters and Bertha Viola (Areford) Walters.
Mrs. Anderson was a life member of the First United Methodist Church, Carmichaels, the United Methodist Women and the Carmichaels Senior Center.
On April 7, 1945, she married Arley L. Anderson. He died February13, 2000.
Surviving are a son, A. Allen Anderson and his wife, Shelley, of Boynton Beach, Florida; two daughters: Mary Lynne Vaslavsky and her husband, James, of Farrell, Pa., and Jacqueline Cole and her husband, Robert, of Maidsville, West Virginia; six grandchildren: Lisa Lunden Moore, Michael Cole, Anita Cole, Nancy Cole, James Anderson and Jesse Anderson; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be welcomed from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today in the YOSKOVICH FUNERAL HOME, Martin J. Yoskovich, Funeral Director, 300 South Vine Street (Route 88), Carmichaels, Pa., where Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 29, with the Rev. Roger C. Saunders officiating.
Interment will follow in Glades Cemetery, Carmichaels.
