Community Foundation donates $1,000 to Union Station Clubhouse
Clara Pascoe, executive director of the Community Foundation of Fayette County (left), presented a check for $1,000 to Scott Bombach, program director of the Union Station Clubhouse and Elaine Swaney, director of Vocational Services for Goodwill Industries of Fayette. Recently celebrating its fifth year, Union Station Clubhouse in Uniontown is a vocational rehabilitation program for adults. Along with a work-ordered day, there also are educational and vocational opportunities. Union Station assists members with preparing for General Equivalency Diploma exams or college as well as opportunities to work on basic math, reading and writing skills. Union Station is an affiliate of Goodwill Industries of Fayette County, which oversees the functions of the clubhouse. For more information, call 724-439-9311.
