… Kenneth Wayne Riggin Sr., 63, of Vanderbilt, Pa., died suddenly Tuesday, May 1, 2007, in the Highland Hospital in Connellsville.
He was born in Uniontown, Pa., October 1, 1943, the son of the late James and Geraldine Riggar Riggin and was a devout husband and grandfather. He was of the Protestant faith, and member of the Juniata Sportsmen Club.
Surviving are his wife of 40 years, Marlene Bordas Riggin; daughters: Beth Ann Riggin Lloyd and husband, Adam of Latrobe, Marcia Riggin Nicklow of Jeanette and a son, Kenneth Wayne Riggin Jr. and wife, Michele Riggin of Dawson; four grandchildren: Caitlyn Beth Nicklow, Kelsey Jo Riggin, Kenneth Wayne Riggin 3rd, and Racchael Elise Lloyd; four brothers: Martin Riggin and wife, Cathy of Vanderbilt, Bernard Riggin and wife, Bert of Uniontown, Ronald Riggin and wife, Sue of Connellsville, and Richard of Dawson; five sisters: Laura Grimes of Manor, Shirley Styles of Tennessee, Rosemary Wynaught and husband, Ray of Lemont Furnace, Kathleen Rockwell and husband, Tim of Bitner, and Wanda Stewart and husband, Clifford of Flatwoods and a number of nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the RALPH E. GALLEY FUNERAL HOME, in Dawson, on Thursday and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and on Saturday until 11 a.m., the hour of the service with the Rev. Richard Bordas officiating.
Interment will be held in Saint John Cemetery, Connellsville, Pa.
