Dr. James G. Zaidan, age 94, of Atlanta, Georgia, who had been a well-known physician in and a former resident… Dr. James G. Zaidan, age 94, of Atlanta, Georgia, who had been a well-known physician in and a former resident of Uniontown, Pennsylvania, passed away Friday, May 4, 2007.
He was born April 29, 1913, in Mount Pleasant, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.
Dr. Zaidan was an avid gardener and one of the favorite flowers raised in his garden were Lincoln roses.
His wife, Ira Ruth Knotts Zaidan, died January 3, 1994.
He is survived by his daughter, Sandy Zaidan of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; his son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Jim and Joy Zaidan of Stone Mountain, Georgia; and his granddaughter, Janine Timmerman and her husband, Jason, of Atlanta, Georgia.
The family will receive friends on Monday, May 7, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the ROSWELL FUNERAL HOME, 950 Mansell Road, Roswell, Georgia 30076 (770-993-4811).
Funeral Services will be held in the Roswell Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, May 8, at 11 a.m. The Rev. Nancy Folsom will officiate.
Interment will follow in the Green Lawn Cemetery.
