Georgia Sirilla of Masontown, Pa., died in the West Virginia University Hospital, Ruby Memorial, on Thursday, May 3, 2007, with… Georgia Sirilla of Masontown, Pa., died in the West Virginia University Hospital, Ruby Memorial, on Thursday, May 3, 2007, with devoted friends by her side.

She was born in Masontown, Pa., the daughter of Michael and Anne (Georgi) Sirilla.

Ms. Sirilla graduated from Albert Gallatin High School and retired from the Federal Reserve System in which she was employed as a Bank Examiner for over 30 years.

She was predeceased by her parents as well as a brother, Michael Charles Sirilla, and two sisters, Judith Sirilla Epstein and Mary Anne “Maizie” Sirilla Talbott.

Georgia is survived by her brother-in-law, John Talbott of Elkins, West Virginia; a nephew, Michael Talbott of Freeman, Virginia; many close relatives and friends; and a special friend, Steven Pope.

The family will receive friends in the SAINT MARY’S ORTHODOX CHURCH, 309 South Washington Street, Masontown, on Monday, May 7, 2007, from 9 until 11 a.m.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. in Saint Mary’s Russian Orthodox Church with the Rev. Father Dimitrov as Celebrant.

Interment will follow in Saint Mary’s Orthodox Cemetery, Masontown, Pa.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Saint Mary’s Orthodox Church, Masontown, PA 15461.

Arrangements are under the direction of the JOHN S. MAYKUTH JR. FUNERAL HOME, corner of Church at 7 River Avenue, Masontown.
