Crash reported
State police said a two-vehicle accident occurred Wednesday on Bute Road at 3:15 p.m. Police identified the drivers involved as Terri Hucchuck, 49, of McClellandtown and John Cramer, 42, of New Salem.

Accident reported
State police said Stasi Lee Flora, 23, of Republic was cited for numerous unspecified traffic violations following a 7:40 p.m. crash on Searights-Herbert Road on Thursday. Police said that Flora lost control of her mini-van and hit a grass embankment. Police said Flora was uninjured and declined treatment at the scene. The crash closed the road for about 30 minutes, police said.

Theft reported
Jerry Gagnon, 42, of Brownsville told state police at Washington that copper and various tools were stolen from his 2081 Second St. home in the borough between Tuesday evening and Friday morning.

Assault reported
State police said Smalley Martin of Dunbar Township was charged with simple assault and harassment after he allegedly punched Rebecca Alborn in the face and grabbed her arm, causing bruises. The alleged assault occurred at 771 Fan Hollow Road around 4 a.m. Friday.
South Union Twp.
Man arrested
State police arrested Jacob John Hooper, 25, of Uniontown and charged him with terroristic threats after he allegedly threatened an unidentified 16-year-old boy with a knife outside the Bon Ton entrance of the Uniontown Mall at 6:15 p.m. Friday. Police said when they responded to the scene, Hooper had a knife with a 10 1/2-inch blade and had allegedly made a threatening comment to the boy. Hooper was arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Jesse Cramer and committed to the Fayette County Prison in lieu of $7,500 straight bond.
