… Ronald W. Yanak Sr., age 67, of Leckrone, Pa., died Monday, April 30, 2007, in the Uniontown Hospital, Uniontown, Pa.
He was born August 26, 1939, in Masontown, Pa., the son of Joseph Yanak and Cora (Show) Yanak.
Ronald was a member of Masontown Brethren Church.
He worked as a truck driver.
He served in the United States Army and was a veteran of the Vietnam War.
His memory will be greatly cherished and sadly missed by all.
He is survived by his children: Correna and her husband, Michael Smithburger, of Grindstone Pa., Ronald “Ronnie” Yanak Jr., Rhonda Yanak, Lisa Yanak, Tracy Yanak and James Yanak; and his sisters: Roseann, Charlotte and Georgetta. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren.
His mortal remains were generously donated to the Humanity Gifts Registry.
Friends are invited to call at the JOHN S. MAYKUTH JR. FUNERAL HOME, corner of Church at 7 River Avenue, Masontown, Pa., on Monday, May 7, from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m.
A Memorial Service will begin at 2 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Stephen Cole officiating.
Military Rites and Honors will be accorded at the Funeral Home by the Masontown Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion.
