By The 1 min read

A Mount Pleasant man died Saturday from injuries sustained in a one-car crash in Bullskin Township. Robert Lee Sanner, 33, died at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh at 5:29 p.m., according to state police.

Police said Sanner was traveling north on a legislative route just south of Prittstown Road when he allegedly lost control of his vehicle around 1:45 a.m.

According to police, Sanner’s vehicle traveled across the southbound lane before leaving the road and going over an embankment.

Sanner’s vehicle continued to travel through a grassy area, sideswiping a tree with the driver’s side of the car, before spinning and hitting a second tree, police said.

Sanner, according to police, suffered severe injuries as a result of the crash and was flown by medical helicopter to Presbyterian Hospital, where he later died.

Police said Sanner was the only person in the car.
