Uniontown police said a cellular telephone owned by Della Craig of Uniontown was stolen from a location on South Gallatin Avenue at 3:45 p.m. Tuesday.

Four injured

State police said a vehicle driven by Lauren Anthony of Merrittstown crashed and rolled over four times on Stone Church Road at 8:45 p.m. Monday. Anthony, along with passengers Sean Middleton, Amber Rayoni and Karon Harris, all of Uniontown, were taken to the Uniontown Hospital for treatment following the crash, police said.

Metal stolen

State police said scrap metal owned by T&C Welding of Republic was stolen from the business on Route 166 between 4:30 p.m. Friday and 7 a.m. Monday.

Woman charged

Lorraine Kay Ward, 45, of Acme was charged with harassment after she grabbed Cindy Harshman of Scottdale by her face during an argument at a residence on Bessemer Road at 11 a.m. April 26, state police said.

Luzerne Twp.

April report

The Luzerne Township Police Department received 54 calls for service during April, including three incidents of criminal mischief, three thefts and one report of shots fired, according to police Chief Roy Mehalik. Mehalik said officers patrolled more than 1,400 miles during the month.

Teen beaten

Denzil Chambers, 37, of Uniontown was charged with simple assault after he struck his 16-year-old son repeatedly, causing bruising and swelling to his face, at their home on Edison Street at 2:45 p.m. Monday, state police said.

The teen, who was not identified, also told police that Chambers kicked him in the back several times after knocking him to the floor, police said. Chambers was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Mark L. Blair and placed in the Fayette County Prison, police said.

House damaged

Sean Nose of South Union Township told state police that vandals used rocks to damage his house on Rock Road on Sunday or Monday, police said.

Car stolen

Frank Spade of Farmington told state police that his 1995 Mazda Prot?g? was stolen from the parking lot of his business on Route 40 between 4:30 p.m. Sunday and 5 a.m. Monday, police said.

Man charged

State police said Tremain Johnson, 22, of Masontown was charged with harassment after he pushed Tiffany Presher of Point Marion during an argument at a residence on Broadway Street at 1 a.m. May 2.

One-car crash

No one was injured when a car driven by Carla Friend of McClellandtown struck a tree on Poundstone Road at 9:44 p.m. Friday, state police said.

Juvenile injured

State police said a juvenile, who was not identified, suffered injuries when he was struck by a vehicle driven by David Cobbs of Uniontown while on a bicycle on Oliver Road at 3 p.m. Saturday.

East Huntingdon Twp.

Man charged

Dusty Bradshaw, 32, of Scottdale was charged with disorderly conduct after he entered the Southmoreland Jr. High School and followed a student from classroom to classroom arguing with her at 12:45 p.m. Monday, state police said.

Brownsville

Car damaged

Tabitha Wynn of Brownsville told police that vandals broke a taillight on her vehicle while it was parked on Second Street at 10:56 p.m. Tuesday, Browns-ville police said.

Smithfield

Man charged

State police said James Catalogna, no address available, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol after a traffic stop on Route 119 in Smithfield April 8.

Brownsville

Vandalism reported

Brownsville police said vandals smashed the windshield of a car owned by Wesley Knox of Brownsville while it was parked on Howard Street at 11:12 p.m. Tuesday. Police said the suspects were in a black Chevrolet Cavalier and were believed to be responsible for other reports of vandalism in Brownsville Tuesday night. Investigations continue

Police are conducting investigations into the following unrelated incidents:

– An April 18 theft of a boys’ 20-inch red bicycle from a residence located in the 200 block of South Prospect Street.

– An April 21 criminal mischief when the tires of a vehicle parked in the 100 block of Snyder Street were slashed.

– An April 26 criminal mischief when the windshield of a vehicle parked in the 300 block of North Arch Street was damaged.

– An April 27 criminal mischief when someone damaged the East Park water fountain.

– An April 28 criminal mischief when someone threw eggs at a residence located in the 200 block of East Fairview Avenue.

– An April 30 criminal mischief when someone slashed the tires of vehicles parked at Tri-Star Motors located along Memorial Boulevard.

– An April 30 theft of unspecified items from an unlocked vehicle parked in the 300 block of North Pittsburgh Street.

– A May 1 theft of an air-conditioner from a residence located in the 400 block of South Pittsburgh Street.

– A May 3 theft of cash from a residence located in the 200 block of East Apple Street.

– A May 3 criminal mischief when someone scratched a vehicle parked in the 500 block of Vine Street.

– A May 6 burglary when a group of Caucasian males forcibly entered an occupied residence located in the 200 block of East Fairview Avenue and stole cash and a safe.

Scam discovered

Borough officials said a resident recently received a letter and a check for $4,750 in the mail from Global Lottery Agency of Ontario, Canada.

The letter asks whoever receives it to send in money to win $285,000. Borough officials said they believe it is a scam targeting senior citizens and advise residents not to cash the check.
