State police said someone cut telephone wire on Smithfield-Masontown Road, near Rockwell Road, and stole about 325 feet of it around 11:40 a.m. on Tuesday.

Theresa Karaffa told state police that a tire and rim were stolen from her car around 10 a.m. Thursday, police said.

Theft reported
State police said someone pumped $16.77 in gas at the Dairy Mart on Dixon Boulevard and left without paying around 4:20 p.m. Tuesday.

Man arrested
John P. Weaver, 35, of New Salem was charged with simple assault and harassment after he allegedly hit Jennifer Weaver, 35, of Carmichaels around 12:30 p.m. Wednesday. He was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Randy Abraham, state police said.

Pillar damaged
Millie Louise Shipley, 78, of Uniontown told state police that a stone pillar in the driveway of her West Penn Boulevard home was damaged on Wednesday, police said.

Man arrested
State police said Kirk Kuhta of Uniontown was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol after he hit a parked car in the lot of Smitty’s Bar on April 27. Police pulled Kuhta over on Rankin Airshaft Road around 1:30 a.m., shortly after the accident, according to police.

Four cited
State police cited four people for disorderly conduct after they were called to a Third Street home around 6 p.m. Thursday. Police listed the people cited as Terri Rae Wilson, 43; John Clark Wilson, 46; Clarice Smith Jackson, 43; and William Scott, 49. All four are from Third Street in Buffington.

Speakers stolen
Matthew Paul Bailey of Uniontown told state police that two speakers and two amplifiers were stolen from his car while at the Kurosky’s Auto Center between April 21 and 28, police said.

Charges filed
Police have filed charges against the following individuals in unrelated incidents:
– Dwayne A. Shipley, 23, of Leisenring with trespassing after he allegedly violated a trespass order and entered Gibson Terrace on April 18. Shipley was also charged with retail theft on April 19 after he allegedly attempted to steal a DVD from Hollywood Video.
– James K. Bartsch, 45, of Connellsville with harassment, public drunkenness and disorderly conduct following an April 20 incident in the 300 block of North Pittsburgh Street when Bartsch was allegedly found intoxicated, causing a disturbance and making threats.
– William D. Hixson Jr., 38, and James L. Hixson, 35, both of Connellsville, with burglary, criminal trespass, simple assault, criminal mischief and harassment after they allegedly assaulted two unidentified males during an April 21 incident in the 600 block of West Fayette Street.
– Alan D. Wingrove Jr., 31, of Connellsville with indecent exposure after he allegedly exposed himself during an April 22 incident in North Manor.
– Erica D. Brown, 23, of Connellsville with receiving stolen property after she was allegedly found with a stolen PA registration plate during an April 25 traffic stop in the 500 block of East Crawford Avenue.
– Tonya Basinger, 18, and a 17-year-old female, both of Connellsville, with disorderly conduct after they were allegedly involved in an April 27 fight at the Connellsville Area Senior High School.
– A 17-year-old male of Connellsville with possession of tobacco in school during an April 27 incident at the Connellsville Area Senior High School when the juvenile was allegedly found to be in possession of a tobacco product.
– Two 16-year-old females, both of Connellsville, for disorderly conduct following a May 1 incident at the Connellsville Area Senior High School when they were allegedly found to be involved in a fight.
– Elmer D. Stillwagon, no age given, of Connellsville with public drunkenness after he was allegedly found intoxicated during a May 5 incident on the Crawford Avenue bridge.
– Rebecca King, 41, of Connellsville with public drunkenness after she was allegedly found intoxicated May 5 in the 600 block of Highland Avenue.
– Richard Prutz, 49, of South Connellsville with public drunkenness after he was allegedly found intoxicated May 5 in the Shop ‘n Save parking lot.
– Charles Widener, 33, of Connellsville with public drunkenness after he was allegedly found intoxicated May 5 in the 200 block of East Fairview Avenue.
– Michael Talotta, 48, of Connellsville with resisting arrest and disorderly conduct after he was allegedly found May 6 creating a disturbance and fighting with police during an incident in North Manor.
Uniontown
Charges pending
Uniontown police said weapons and receiving stolen property charges are pending against a juvenile after he was found with a .32-caliber semi-automatic handgun in an alley between Winona and Coolspring streets at 10:55 p.m. Thursday.
The suspect was with another juvenile. The gun had been reported stolen to state police in Belle Vernon. City police said charges will be filed with the Fayette County Juvenile Probation office.

Uniontown police cited Amy Marie Spade, 39, and Darlene Smouse, 34, both homeless, with public drunkenness after responding to a report of women arguing on Carlisle Street at 12:45 a.m. Friday, police said.

Uniontown police cited Nathan Birchfield, 33, of 103 Coolspring St. with public drunkenness for allegedly standing in the middle of the intersection of Dunlap Street and Searight Avenue and yelling at passersby at 2:14 a.m. Friday.
