David and Cecelia Biggerstaff of Belle Vernon announce the engagement of their daughter, Stephanie Marie Biggerstaff, also of Belle Vernon, to Christopher John Rerko of Smithfield. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late John and Mary Clay of Perryopolis, Margaret Biggerstaff and the late David Biggerstaff also of Perryopolis, and Lillian and the late Arthur Brundage of Belle Vernon.

Stephanie is a 1997 graduate of Belle Vernon Area High School and a 2000 graduate of Penn State University. She is employed by Enterprise Rent- A-Car Company of Pittsburgh, in the corporate accounts department as the corporate accounts coordinator.

Her fiance is the son of John and Sheila Rerko of Smithfield. He is the grandson of Ethel and the late John A. Rerko Jr. of Uniontown and Margret and the late Stanley Suba of Uniontown.

Christopher is a 1995 graduate of Albert Gallatin High School and a 2000 graduate of West Virginia University. He is employed at the Fayette County Conservation District as the agriculture coordinator.

The couple is planning a September wedding.
