The bride is the daughter of Mark and Kathy Miyakawa of Honolulu, Hawaii. She is the granddaughter of Mitzi Miyakawa and the late Dr. Stanley Miyakawa of Honolulu, Hawaii.
The bridegroom is the son of Larry and Stephanie Franty of Uniontown.
Maid of honor was Marci Miyakawa. Bridesmaids were Susan Sato and Virginia Nguyen. Junior bridesmaid was Brynn Kubo. Flower girl was Sydney Dunham.
Lee Franty was best man. Groomsmen were Chris Cicconi and John Rameriz. Junior groomsman was Max Dunham
The bride graduated from Moanalua High School in 1997. She attended the University of Arizona and graduated in 2001 with a degree in management information systems. She is a supplier enablement manager with Ariba Inc.
The bridegroom is a 1996 graduate of Uniontown Area High School. He earned a degree in finance in 2000 from Penn State University. He is a distribution manager with Gap Inc in San Francisco.
The couple honeymooned on the island of Fiji.
