Fay-Penn Economic Development Council has announced that Barry Seneri has joined its staff as manager of economic development. Seneri is replacing Donna Bates who left Fay-Penn to accept a position as director of federal programs for the Westmoreland Growth Connection, Greensburg.

“We are very pleased that Barry has joined our staff. Sensus was formerly owned by the British company, BTR Metering Systems, where Seneri served as chief financial officer for the $600 million company.

“Barry’s expertise in finance, production, various AMR (automatic meter reading) technologies combined with his understanding of global trade and international economic issues will significantly enhance our organization’s capabilities,” Krajovic added.

Seneri is originally from Masontown, where he attended Albert Gallatin High School. He is a graduate of Penn State University. He and his wife are residents of Fayette County and have two children and one grandson.
