Burglary reported

State police are investigating a burglary at the new Super Wal-Mart construction site that occurred between Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning. Police reported that several unspecified items were stolen from a trailer on the site. In addition, police reported five trailers and a vehicle parked on the site were damaged.

North Union Twp.

Harassment reported

State police said Michael Haines of Uniontown told them that someone threw a beer bottle at him on Pittsburgh Street around midnight on Wednesday.

South Union Twp.

Woman cited

State police said they cited Belinda Gaster of Uniontown for disorderly conduct following an argument on Route 21 around 2:40 a.m. Sunday.

Dunbar Twp.

Damage reported

A car owned by William Kinley of Uniontown was damaged while the car was parked on Gettamy Road between Monday afternoon and Tuesday evening, according to state police.

German Twp.

Theft reported

John Maciasz told state police that copper wire was stolen from the yard of his Maciasz Road home between Monday evening and Tuesday afternoon, police said.

South Union Twp.

Harassment reported

State police said Kandi Joyce Glidea of Masontown told them that a woman slapped her in the face on McClellandtown Road and then fled around 4:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Wharton Twp.

Burglary reported

State police are investigating a break-in at the Runter Road home of Donna Martin of Farmington. Police said that someone got into Martin’s home on Friday and knocked an alarm system off the wall before fleeing. Police said nothing was reported stolen.

Henry Clay Twp.

Harassment reported

State police said they are investigating letters sent to Phillip Holt and Billie Joyce Myers, associates with GNH Trucking, over the last two years. Police said the letters were sent to the trucking company and did not specify what was contained in them.

Luzerne Twp.

Crash reported

State police in Belle Vernon said Norman Mickey, 21, of Hiller was driving on Third Street in Hiller when he hit a parked car around 8:55 p.m. Monday.

Upper Tyrone Twp.

Damage reported

State police in Belle Vernon said two vending machines at EZ Car Wash in Scottdale were damaged between Sunday and Monday.

Dunbar Twp.

Man charged

State police charged William Leapline Jr. of Dunbar with burglary and aggravated assault after he allegedly broke into the Brick Road home of Penny Hiles and assaulted Samuel Wiatrak around 2:45 a.m. April 28, police said.
