She was born March 18, 1931, in Hoover, Pa., to Leslie Orren Buskirk and Virginia (Byers) Buskirk Williams.

Delores married her childhood sweetheart, Archie David Barnhart Jr., who preceded her in death in 2002.

She was also preceded in death by her sister, Darlene Helen Buskirk (in infancy), her nephew, Terry Lee Bator in 2004, and her beloved son, Mark Douglas Barnhart, in 2000.

Left to cherish her memory are her son, Archie David Barnhart III and his wife, Deborah, of Uniontown, Pa., and her daughters, Holly Williams and her husband, Jeff, of Farmington, Pa., and Shelby Ferrari and husband, Brian of Canonsburg, Pa. She is also survived by five grand-children: Archie David Barnhart IV and his wife, Christy, Joy Smith and her husband, Daniel, Kristi James and her fiance, Christopher Rosano, Alexa Ferrari and Brayden Douglas Ferrari; seven great-grandchildren: Shannon and Christian Barnhart, Garrett Norris, Abigail James, and Zachary, Nicholas and Katelyn Smith; her sister, Irene “Beanie” Bator of Ohio; and her best friend, Carole Tripplet and her husband, A. J.

Dolores was well known for her hard work ethic, her giving nature, her talent as a designer / seamstress, a beautiful smile and long walks along Route 40 in Hopwood.

She worked in retail for Metzler’s and then twenty years for Bon Ton where she officially retired in 1995.

She missed working and being out with people, so she sought full time employment. She then fell in love with Nemacolin Resort & Spa in 1996, where she was still working into January of 2007.

She loved spending time and traveling with her children for any reason including vacations to the shore, marathon shopping trips, competitions all over the country, nights out dancing with “The Band”, a Carribean cruise and, most recently, last October, a trip to Las Vegas where she had the time of her life.

Friends will be received in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, Hopwood, Pa., today, May 17, 2007, from 6 to 9 p.m. and Friday, May 18, 2007, from 9 until 11 a.m., the hour of the Service with Pastor Paul Lesher officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donatations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
