North Union Twp. Vehicle stolen
State police said Shane Michael Jackson, 19, of West Virginia; Stephen Howard Evans, 57, of Bethel Park; and Nathan Ray Kerr, 21, of Washington arrived in Jackson’s car at Mount View Billiards Pool Hall on Route 51 Thursday at 10:10 p.m., when they were approached by a man with a firearm. State police said upon exiting the vehicle, Jackson was told to get back in and the man then drove off with Jackson, Evans and Kerr, although Kerr escaped and notified the authorities. Police said the suspect then followed another man, who was operating a maroon-colored van north on Route 51, made Jackson and Evans exit the vehicle and the two suspects, whom police identified as black males wearing dark-colored hoodies and armed with weapons, fled the area in the victim’s car. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police criminal investigation trooper John F. Marshall at 724-439-7111. Police noted all calls remain confidential, with a reward from Crime Stoppers.

Man charged
State police said charges were filed and an arrest warrant was issued for Samuel Craig Jones of Connellsville. Jones is accused of pointing a .25-caliber firearm at Kenneth Housel at 314 Ash St. and threatening to “blow the victim’s head off” at 2:30 p.m. Friday, state police said.

Vehicle damaged
Charlotte Bonvenuto of Uniontown reported to state police that someone damaged the passenger side door of her vehicle with an object in the parking lot of a restaurant at 1:30 a.m. on May 13, state police said.

ATV stolen
State police said Michelle Louise Hall, 429 Breakneck Road, reported that someone broke into her shed between 11 p.m. Thursday and 6:30 a.m. Friday and stole a black Honda TRX 450RS racing-style all-terrain vehicle. Anyone with information should call the state police in Uniontown at 724-439-7111.

Checks stolen
According to state police, two men stole payroll checks from Magic of Crafts in Donora and then forged the checks and cashed them at Shop n’ Save, 150 Walnut Hill Road, between April 28 and May 11. State police said anyone who is approached in reference to cashing a check for this business should use caution before cashing it.

Juveniles charged
Two juveniles, ages 12 and 14, were charged with harassment after a physical altercation with each other near Eberly Park at 5:30 Thursday, state police said.
East Huntingdon Twp.
Crash investigated
State police said charges are pending against a woman who pulled her vehicle into the intersection of Sportsman Road and Route 981 and into the path of a vehicle driven by David Shotts of Ruffsdale at 10:10 p.m. Thursday. Both vehicles sustained moderate damage, and Shotts suffered minor injuries, according to state police.

Window smashed
According to state police, unknown vandals smashed out the front door window of a vehicle owned by Charles Finfrock of Grindstone on Sixth Street, Rowes Run, at 12:30 a.m. Friday.

Fence damaged
A fence owned by Thelma Russell of Railroad Street was damaged when a vehicle backed up onto it and then fled without stopping, according to state police.

Man arrested
Charles Neighbors, 45, of Lake Lynn was placed in the Greene County Jail for public drunkenness after he was allegedly intoxicated and causing problems at a location at Riviera Mobile Home Park on Friday at 10:53 p.m., state police said.

Collision reported
State police said that Randy Calhoun of Smithfield lost control of his vehicle on Route 21 just east of Route 88 and went off the right side of the roadway onto an embankment, turned sideways and rolled on Wednesday at 6:36 p.m. Calhoun was not injured and his vehicle sustained minor damage, according to state police.

Woman jailed
Veronica L. Giesy, 49, of Stewart Hill Road, Waynesburg, was taken to jail and will receive one citation for public intoxication after being found passed out in a car lying in the weeds over an embankment at the Kyowa of America plant along Route 21 at Interstate 79 at 5:58 p.m. Friday, state police said.

Money taken
Someone forced open two pop machines at Giant Eagle in Rices Landing and removed the money at 2 a.m. Friday, according to state police. Anyone with information is asked to call the state police station in Waynesburg.

Vehicle taken
A 1999 purple Plymouth Voyager, Ohio license PET5862, owned by Ault Images Inc. of Steubenville, Ohio, was stolen between 4 p.m. May 12 and 3 p.m. May 14 after it broke down on Interstate 79 northbound at mile marker 10 and was left there, state police said.
