Center Twp. Woman killed

State police said a 37-year-old Aleppo woman was killed in a two-vehicle crash Saturday.

Teresa Lynne Wise was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident, which occurred on Route 21 approximately a half-mile east of Rogersville in Greene County at 4:25 p.m., police said.

According to police, vehicles driven Wise and Stacey Lee Whipkey, 31, of Waynesburg crashed head on.

Police said Whipkey was flown by medical helicopter to Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, W.Va., following the crash. Whipkey’s condition was not available Sunday.

Police said the accident is under investigation.

Uniontown

Man charged

Ronald Crossland, 19, of Uniontown was charged with aggravated assault, burglary, making terroristic threats and reckless endangerment following an incident at a Clarendon Avenue residence early Saturday morning, according to city police.

Police said officers received a report of a man with a gun standing outside of 29 Clarendon Ave. at 2:50 a.m. Once on scene, officers found Crossland allegedly holding a .22 caliber revolver, police said, noting that a 17-year-old Uniontown boy was also on scene holding a tire iron.

Police said both males were told to drop their weapons. The males complied but became combative toward the officers, police said, noting that a TASER gun was used to subdue them.

People inside the residence told the officers Crossland allegedly pointed the gun at them and threatened to kill them, police said.

The 17-year-old boy was charged with aggravated assault, burglary, making terroristic threats and reckless endangerment for his alleged involvement in the incident, police said.

Bench stolen

Gary W. Shipley of Hopwood told police a black wooden bench was stolen from his National Pike residence between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. Saturday, state police reported.

Vanderbilt

Pills missing

State police said William P. Price, 48, of 207 Main St., Vanderbilt, reported 40 prescribed hydrocodone pills were stolen from a cabinet located in his family room between 2:30 and 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Man to be charged

State police said drug-related charges will be filed against a 37-year-old McClellandtown man who was found in possession of suspected crack cocaine at a Long Street residence at 12:01 a.m. Saturday.

South Union Twp.

Woman cited

Alicia Wilczynski, 21, of Republic was cited for harassment after she allegedly hit Rachel Hudson, 22, of Oliver in the face during an altercation at a restaurant on Route 40 at 2:55 a.m. Saturday, state police said.

Connellsville Twp.

Items stolen

Leah Holden, 36, of Connellsville told police her Plymouth Street residence was entered and items were stolen between 3 and 11 p.m. May 2.

Uniontown

Cocaine found

State police said a 33-year-old Uniontown man was taken into custody May 3 in Uniontown for a protection from abuse order he allegedly violated in North Union Township earlier that day. Police said a piece of suspected crack cocaine was allegedly found in the man’s shirt pocket, noting that charges are pending. The man was placed in Fayette County Prison for violating the protection from abuse order, police said.

City police said Greg Warnick, 40, of Uniontown was arrested at 4:54 p.m. Friday for violating a protection from abuse order.

City police said Kenneth W. Smith Jr. was charged with indirect criminal contempt at 6:42 a.m. Saturday following an incident in the city.

Shots fired

Officers responded to a report of four to five shots fired in the area of Pershing Court at 12:42 a.m. Sunday, city police said.

South Union Twp.

Vehicle stolen

State police said a vehicle belonging to Carl Wilson, 29, of Uniontown was stolen from the parking lot of a laundromat on South Mount Vernon Avenue around 8 p.m. Friday. Police said the vehicle is a white 1987 Honda Accord with white hubcaps, a damaged hood, tinted windows and license plate number FVP-6058.
