Grant received
Fayette County Community Action Agency recently received a project support grant from the Community Foundation of Fayette County (CFFC) to assist with the revitalization of Uniontown’s East End community.
“The planned infusion of funding will provide quality three and four bedroom scattered site homes for moderate-income families. The project will help to eliminate blight and support the long-term revitalization of the area as a desirable residential location and increase the viability of our community,” officials said.
CFFC also granted Threshold Housing Development Inc, a project support award to assist in their single family home building program throughout Fayette County.
The award will allow for the purchase of needed construction tools and equipment by Threshold staff and the self-help housing family volunteers for home building.
