One injured in Route 40 crash

One person was taken by ambulance to an area hospital after two vehicles collided on Route 40 in Redstone Township Monday afternoon. Both vehicles sustained heavy damage.

According to Fayette County 911, volunteer firefighters from Republic and Allison 2 along with emergency personnel from Fayette EMS and the state police responded to the 3:49 p.m. crash.
