Donald F. Turosik Jr., 46, of

California, Pa., passed away

Monday, May 21, 2007, in his

home. He was born May 3, 1961,

son of Donald F. Turosik Sr.

(Madeline Kimball) and

Carole Leonard Cunningham

(Richard).

Mr. Turosik graduated from

California (Pa.) Area High

School as the Class President

of 1979.

He received his Bachelor of

Science Degree in

Economics/Political Science

from Washington and

Jefferson College in 1983.

His career spanned over 20

years in finance and customer

service.

Donald was the

Scoutmaster of the California

Area Boy Scout Troop 1404

and a Mon Valley District

Advancement Committee

Member.

He had previously served

as Cubmaster and Committee

Chairman for the California

Area Cub Scout Pack 1423.

Donald received the Key III

Award and also the District

Award of Merit for his service

to the Mon Valley District in

scouting.

He served as an Elder of

the First Presbyterian Church

in California, Pa.

He was a member of the

Loyal Order of Moose Lodge

209 in Belle Vernon, Pa.

On June 29, 1983, he

married Diane Jeffries

Turosik.

Donald was preceded in

death by his Paternal

Grandparents, Rudy and

Helen Turosik, Maternal

Grand-parents, John and

Pauline Leonard, and Fatherin-

law, Arthur P. Jeffries.

In addition to his loving

Wife, Diane, Donald is

survived by his Son, Franklin,

and Daughter, Lauren.

Also surviving Donald are

his Mother-in-law, Priscilla

Morris Jeffries; Aunts,

Uncles, Cousins and Friends.

He will also be missed by

his faithful companion,

Whitney.

Friends will be received

today from 2 to 9 p.m. in the

ED MELENYZER FUNERAL

HOMES INC., 1008 Furlong

Avenue, Roscoe, Pa., where

the Funeral Service will be

held Thursday, May 24, 2007,

at 11 a.m. with Pastor Glenn

McClelland of the Mingo

Presbyterian Church

officiating.
