Everette C. Barker, 81, of Woodstock, Ga., formerly of Fayette County, died Sunday May 13, 2007.

A World War II… Everette C. Barker, 81, of Woodstock, Ga., formerly of Fayette County, died Sunday May 13, 2007.

A World War II United States Navy veteran, Mr. Barker retired after a 37 year career at Bankhead Enterprises. He was a graduate of Redstone Township High School, a member of the Leroy Duncan Masonic Lodge 262 and the Yaraab Shrine, where he was an active member of the Motor Corps.

Mr. Barker was preceded in death by his daughter, Pamela Sue Barker Canuteson.

He is survived by his son and daugher-in-law, Keith and LeeAnn Barker of Dallas, Ga., and his granddaughters Shea and Hanna Barker of Dallas.

Funeral services was held on Tuesday, May 15, at 11 a.m. in PATTERSON’S ARLINGTON CHAPEL, with Chaplain George McCune officiating.

The family received friends on Monday, May 14, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Mr. Barker’s memory to the Shrine Temple or the Masonic Children’s Home in Macon, Ga.
