Glenn Arthur Tawney, 61, of Gainesville, Ga., formerly of Masontown, Pa., passed away Saturday, May 19, 2007, in his home.

… Glenn Arthur Tawney, 61, of Gainesville, Ga., formerly of Masontown, Pa., passed away Saturday, May 19, 2007, in his home.

He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Barbara Tawney and children: Katherine Miller and husband, Scott of Gans, Pa., Glenn Tawney, Jr. of Gainesville, Ga., Barbara Coleman and Larry Stiner of McClellandtown, Pa., David Tawney and wife, Jennifer of Canton, Ga., and Monica Calhoun and husband, Barry of Kennesaw, Ga.; and 12 grandchildren. He is also survived by sisters: Janet Hickey of Connecticut, Vivian Johnson of Spraggs, Pa., Lenore Squires of Nemacolin, Pa., and Darlene Perrine of California.

A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, May 27, 2007, at 2 p.m. at the GANS UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, Gans, Pa.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Glenn to the American Cancer Society or your local hospice program.
