PennDOT announces work schedule for week

Chris Sleighter, Fayette County maintenance manager with the state Department of Transportation, has announced the following tentative work plan for the week beginning Monday. Deck repairs will begin to the bridge on Palmer Road.

Signs will be updated, downed signs will be replaced, and work orders will be addressed on various state routes throughout Fayette County.

Erosion control for bridges will occur on various routes throughout the county.

Widening and Base repairs will take place on Navaho Hollow Road; Hamer Road and Redstone Church Road in the Washington Township area.

Drainage work is scheduled on state Route 381, in the Farmington area and on state Route 21, in the Masontown area.

Bridge flushing operations will occur on various routes in the Connellsville and Cloverleaf area.

Oil and chip activities are scheduled for four rural routes in the High House area.
