Tom and Sherry Shaffer of Ellwood Road, New Castle, announce the engagement and upcoming wedding of their daughter, Sarah E. Shaffer, to Timothy D. Harrison of Allegheny Street, Hollidaysburg. The bride-elect is a 2003 graduate of Shenango Area High School in New Castle and a 2007 graduate of Susquehanna University in Selingsgrove.

Her fiance is the son of the Rev. Phillip and Susan Harrison of Hickory Road, Punxsutawney, formerly of this area. He is a 2002 graduate of Uniontown Area High School and a 2006 graduate of Simpson University in Redding, Calif.

A wedding for July 14 in New Castle is planned.
