Umbel-Walkos
United in marriage on Oct. 7 were Kelly B. Walkos of Uniontown and Kenny Umbel Jr. of Uniontown. The Rev. Stephen Cole officiated the ceremony at the Masontown Brethren Church.
The bride is the daughter of David and Margaret Walkos of Second Street, Uniontown. The bridegroom is the son of Ken Sr. and Janet Umbel of Hill Street, Thompson I.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a white silk A-line gown with beaded embroidery and a flowing beaded satin outlined train. A scalloped veil outlined in Swarovski crystals was held by a matching tiara.
Christina Walkos was maid of honor for her sister. Bridesmaids were Lisa Mangosh, Melissa Mari, Tonya Smith, Amy Kochis and Diana Hutcheson, cousin of the bridegroom. Flower girl was Lexi Lewis.
Best man was John Kochis. Groomsmen were Tom Walkos, brother of the bride; Harold Tawney, Barry Seneri, Gary Serock and Justin Martelli. Ring bearer was Joey Phillips, nephew of the bride.
The reception was held at the Uniontown Social Hall.
The bride is a 1998 graduate of Albert Gallatin High School and is an accounts payable manager at Metal Management Pittsburgh.
The bridegroom is a 1992 graduate of Tri-Valley High School and a 1998 graduate of California University of Pennsylvania. He is a member of the Plumbers and Pipe Fitters Local 354.
The couple honeymooned in Aruba. They are residing at 2 Sandie Drive, Uniontown.
