Agnes M. Kozel Nicol, age 87, of Uniontown, Pa., passed away on Thursday, May 24, 2007, in the Mount Macrina… Agnes M. Kozel Nicol, age 87, of Uniontown, Pa., passed away on Thursday, May 24, 2007, in the Mount Macrina Manor Nursing Home.
She was born on February 18, 1920, in Leckrone, Pa., the daughter of John Kozel and Mary (Bodnar) Kozel.
Agnes was a member of Saint Mary (Nativity) Roman Catholic Church, a lifetime member of the Saint Mary’s Confraternity of Christian Mothers and the Saint Mary’s Rosary Altar Society and was a dedicated Den Mother of Cub Scout Pack 620 of Saint Mary’s.
She was Godmother to several children in her lifetime.
Agnes was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother to her loving family.
She loved music, especially Spiritual Music and was dedicated to praying the Rosary.
Her parents, two sisters, Margaret Machusko and Mildred Lengvarsky, two brothers, Joseph Kozel and Michael Kozel, and parents preceded her in death.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 62 years, Emerson V. Nicol; sons: two Michael S. Nicol and his wife, Amy Jo, of Sharon, Pa., and Robert Vincent Nicol and his wife, Marta Jo, of Uniontown, Pa.; grandchildren: David Nicol, Brian Nicol, Matthew Nicol and Krista Nicol; a sister, Mrs. Mary Warnick of State College, Pa.; and several nieces, nephews and Godchildren, whom she loved dearly.

North Gallatin Avenue Extension, Uniontown, Pa., today (Memorial Day) from 4 to 9 p.m. and on Tuesday, May 29, 2007, until 10:15 a.m. when a Blessing Service will be held.
A Mass of Christian Burial follows at 11 a.m. in Saint Mary (Nativity) Roman Catholic Church, North Mount Vernon Avenue, with the Rev. Father Micah E. Kozoil as Celebrant.
Interment will follow in Saint Mary (Nativity) Cemetery, Uniontown, Pa.
Saint Mary’s Confraternity of Christian Mothers will recite the Rosary in the Funeral Home today at 6 p.m.
Parish Wake Service will be held in the Funeral Home today at 7 p.m.
Saint Mary’s Rosary Altar Society will recite the Rosary in the Funeral Home today at 7:30 p.m.
