Kerosene removed

Andrew Dale O’Nell, 35, of Dunbar told police kerosene was removed from his 138 Twin Oaks Drive residence Friday, state police said.

Man arrested

State police said Phillip Rafail, 28, of Smithfield was arrested and charged with simple assault after he allegedly shoved Betty Gilmer, 37, of Smithfield and punched and kicked her during an altercation at 129 Lovers Leap Road at 4 a.m. Saturday.

East Huntingdon Twp.

Gasoline stolen

Shirlene Hollis of Hunker told police five gallons of gasoline and a pressure washer were stolen from her 829 Hunker-Lumber Road residence between noon May 1 and 10 a.m. Saturday, state police reported.

Uniontown

Guns found

James Sileo of Uniontown reported finding two guns in a trashcan behind a 149 Walnut St. residence at 12:59 p.m. Sunday, according to city police. Police said two firearms, a double barrel shotgun and a .22 caliber rifle, were found. The matter is under investigation, police said.

Brownsville

Man injured

James Holcomb Jr. of Brownsville was flown by medical helicopter to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh after being injured in an altercation that allegedly occurred inside Elmo’s Bar on Second Street, state police said, noting two other Brownville men were also involved in the altercation. Police said the incident is under investigation.

Man injured

According to state police, Antwjuan Maurice Cox, 21, of Uniontown suffered moderate injuries in a one-vehicle accident after the vehicle he was operating overturned on McClellandtown Road at 9:45 p.m. Saturday.

City police said officers responded to the Polish Club on South Mount Vernon Avenue at 11:09 p.m. Saturday for a report of a large fight in the parking lot.

Paraphernalia found

City police said a 25-year-old woman was found in possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop in the area of Connellsville Street at 9:50 a.m. Sunday. Charges are pending, according to police.
