What a week of wrestling we saw this past week. Edge won the World Title this past Tuesday Night in our neighbor of Pittsburgh. I was supposed to attend that show but the date came upon me so fast I completely forgot. My other job is selling advertisements to politicians so this is a busy time of the month. How about the returning Mark Henry? I have always been a “Mark Henry Hater” at least until his last run that is. Mark has shown something in the past year that he had been unable to showcase for 10 years. He actually can be pushed as a monster heel. What a week of wrestling we saw this past week. I have loved the new ECW since its rebirth, but I have hated the fact that a 70 year old Mr. McMahon is the world champion. Now granted it’s better than having No Mic Skill Lashley as the Champ but come on… How about giving the belt to RVD or better yet The Sandman or Elijah Burke would be better champions.
I see my favorite thing about pro wrestling is making a comeback… Tag Team Wrestling! Last month in the Brownsville Beacon, I wrote about my love for the tag teams of wrestling. The Hardys and the Major Brothers are getting me excited for tag team wrestling once again.
Now that Edge is back on Smackdown we can finally see some exciting Friday Night Wrestling with new blood. They didn’t have the WWE Draft this year so we have had to sit and watch the same stars on the same shows. Finally that is about to change. Edge vs Matt Hardy Part 2, Edge vs Batista WOW the matches are endless.
It seems as if the WWE wants Lashley on Raw instead of ECW… So do it! Make the switch so we can see ECW matches on ECW and not RAW matches on ECW.. Don’t do any more damage to Tuesday Nights Vince.
