The WWE has decided to release some of their roster members. Some are coming to me as surprises and some are not.

Released so far…

1 Rob Conway – Rob was never a main event superstar and he never will be. He just wasn’t popular with the crowd and he didn’t really have the look of a superstar. Maybe a superstar of the 80’s but he’s just dated in appearance.

2 Big Vito – Vito’s career was killed early in the year. Vito is a big Italian monster and for some reason the WWE creative thought it would be better to make him a cross dresser wearing a dress to the wrestling ring. I was shocked with this one only because Vito has been earmarked to join Nunzio as the rebirth of the full blooded Italians in ECW.

3 Sabu – Sabu could have had a career forever in WWE on the ECW brand if he wanted one. Back in July last year Sabu and RVD were arrested for drugs. RVD was suspended but the surprise was Sabu only got fined. At that point I thought for sure Sabu would be a constant figure in WWE ECW and he was. It appears now that Sabu was not happy and had been showing up without his gear and not wanting to put over younger stars…Looks like TNA will get a few WWE rejects soon.

4 Too Cold Scorpio – He hasn’t even wrestled on TV yet so this was no surprise.

5 Scotty Too Hotty – Major shock here! Scott Taylor has been with the WWE since he was 18! Scotty is on the injured list. What a way to fire a great talent.

6 Ariel – The hottest vampire on ECW. This is a real shame seeing how she was fired due to a fight she got into with Dave Batista. Just goes to show, you can’t trust anyone. I am unsure what they plan to do with her partner in crime, Kevin Thorn.

7 and 8 Nick Mitchel and Mark Canterbury – Not too well known Nick, was a member of the Spirit Squad and Mark was Henry Godwin years ago. Both are not a surprise to me.
