With a mixture of sadness and joy, we must announce the passing of an amazing woman, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother… With a mixture of sadness and joy, we must announce the passing of an amazing woman, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend into the arms of our loving Lord on Monday, May 28, 2007, at 11:15 a.m.
“Molly” was born on March 21, 1928, in Stewart Township, Fayette County, Pa., to the late Sara Catherine Silbaugh and James Russell Burnsworth.
“Molly” is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Michael Konyuk; daughters: Linda D. Hyatt and husband, Gary of Slippery Rock, Pa., and Nicole Doble of Lincoln, Calif.; sons: Phillip C. Gosnell and wife, Christie of Fort Hill, Pa., Todd A. Gosnell and wife, Mary also of Fort Hill, Pa., and Jon M. Sinko and wife, Marla of Daniels W.Va.; grandchildren include: Christopher P. Gosnell, Brian M. Hyatt, Judson T. Gosnell, David A. Gosnell, Sara A. Spies and Tanner L. Freer; great-grandchildren are: Alyssa Hyatt, Curtis Gosnell and Brian Gosnell. She is also survived by a sister, Audrey Forsythe of Maryland; a brother, Ronald Burnsworth of LasVegas, Nevada, and a beloved sister-in-law, Jenny Baxter of Angels Camp, California.
“Molly” retired from the State of California as a project manager and will be fondly remember as a loving and gentle wife and mother, devoted friend and talented musician. She was a brilliant woman with a huge capacity for compassion and life. She wll be dearly missed by all that knew and loved her.
Friends and family may pay their respects between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 2, 2007, in CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, Route 40 East, Farmington, Pa.
Memorial Services will be held at 1 p.m. in the funeral home with a Christian Burial to follow at Bethel Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Molly’s memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
