UNIONTOWN Veronica Ann Casper Veronica Ann Casper, of (York Run) Uniontown, Pa., passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 1, 2008, with her loving family at her side. She was born in Puritan, Pa., a daughter of John and Catherine (Blazoncik) Olesh. Veronica was the last member of her immediate family, with her parents, husband, Robert Anthony Casper, Sr., brothers, John Olesh, Steve Olesh, Sr and Mike Olesh, Sr., and sisters, Theresa Butorac and Mary Kattaron preceding her in death. She was a member of Saint Therese de Lisieux Roman Catholic Church. Veronica was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, who cared deeply and saw to her family’s every need. She was an excellent homemaker who loved cooking, baking, crafts and decorating her home. Her hobbies included Polka Band music, crocheting, going to church and yard work. She will be sadly missed by family, friends and all who knew and loved her. Left to cherish her memory are her children: Cynthia A. Casper-Kopas and Michael, Robert A. Casper, Jr. and Lori Ann and Frank B. Casper and Jennifer; grandchildren: Krystle M. Kopas, Amanda C. Casper, Ashley M. Casper, Tyler B. Casper, Matthew A. Casper and Caitlin N. Casper, all of Uniontown; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Per Veronica’s request, private viewing for immediate family will be held in the STEPHEN R. HAKY FUNERAL HOME, INC., 603 North Gallatin Avenue Extension, Uniontown, Pa., on Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m. and Monday, April 7, 2008, until 9:30 a.m. when Prayers of Transfer will be said. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 a.m. in Saint Therese de Lisieux Roman Catholic Church with Rev. Father Kenneth G. Zaccagnini as Celebrant. Interment will be held in Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown, Pa. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Saint Therese Roman Catholic Church, 61 Mill Street, Uniontown, Pa., 15401.
