Springfield Twp. Two injured
State police said Waylon D. Shroyer, 22, and Paul C. Cole, 18, both of Mill Run, suffered serious injuries when the vehicle they were in crashed on Springfield Pike, also known as Route 711, at 5:30 a.m. Sunday. Police said the vehicle crashed into a guardrail and traveled over an embankment before crashing into a tree. Both men were flown by medical helicopter to UPMC Presbyterian hospital in Pittsburgh. No further information was available Sunday night.

Man injured
State police said Christopher P. Mio Neligh of Jefferson Township suffered serious injuries when a truck driven by Mio Neligh and a tractor-trailer driven by James Boyce of West Virginia crashed on Interstate 79 near mile marker 21 in Greene County at 3:40 a.m. Friday. Police said Mio Neligh was ejected from his vehicle and flown by medical helicopter to UPMC Mercy hospital in Pittsburgh. Police did not say if Boyce or Terry N. Williams of Jefferson Township, a passenger in Mio Neligh’s vehicle, suffered injuries as a result of the crash. An update on Mio Neligh’s condition was not available.

Accident reported
State police said Harley King, 31, of Smithfield suffered minor injuries when the vehicle he was driving crashed on Morgantown Road at 4:06 a.m. Saturday. Police said King’s vehicle crashed into a retaining wall, a parked vehicle, a utility pole, a parked boat and a boat trailer. King’s vehicle, a 1998 Jeep Cherokee, sustained severe damage was towed from the scene, police said.

Three charged
Misty Dawn Boyd, Robin M. Klugman, and Brandi L. Hill, all of Lemont Furnace, were charged with retail theft for allegedly attempting to steal merchandise from the Wal-Mart Super Center at 4:24 p.m. Thursday, state police said. Police said Klugman and Hill were also cited with disorderly conduct.

Man cited
State police said Brad Rushton, 35, of Grindstone was cited for disorderly conduct and harassment for operating an all-terrain vehicle on a state highway and yelling obscenities at Donald Newell Jr. and Donald Newell Sr., both of Dawson, who were allegedly parking on Laughlin Street when they were taunted by Rushton. Police allege Rushton also ran his ATV into a backhoe belonging to Newell Sr., noting that the backhoe sustained damage to the rear fender.

Pursuit reported
State police said James Ansell III, 31, of Fairchance led troopers on a high-speed pursuit after Ansell allegedly refused to pull over for a traffic stop in the area of Connellsville Street and Brushwood Road on Friday. Police said the vehicle was stopped and Ansell was taken into custody, noting that Ansell was placed in Fayette County Prison after failing to post bail.

Incident investigated
State police said an incident involving a man who allegedly exposed himself at the intersection of Leisenring Vanderbilt Road and Sandy Hollow Road around 1 p.m. Friday is under investigation. Police said the suspect, described as being a white male, was possibly driving an older model red coupe. Anyone with information about the alleged incident is asked to call Trooper Aaron S. Gilbert at 724-439-7111.

Woman arrested
State police said Jennifer R. Hall, 19, of Uniontown was arrested for underage drinking following an incident on Reppert Boulevard at 12:30 a.m. Sunday.

Home shot
Crystal Brownfield of Fairchance reported her home, located at 35 High St., was shot with paintballs at 10:23 p.m. Friday, state police said.

State police said Robert A. Banks of Indian Head reported copper, brass and a ladder were stolen from a location on Stanton Road between 6 p.m. March 30 and 1:30 p.m. Saturday.
