Four teens seek fair queen crown
Four young ladies will compete for the title of Greene County Fair Queen during a pageant on Friday, August 1, at 7 p.m. in the downstairs of the 4-H building at the Greene County Fairgrounds. Last year’s Fair Queen and Pa. State Fair Queen runner-up, Megan Moore, will relinquish her title and crown to this year’s winner. The public is invited to attend the crowning of this years queen.
The winner of the Queen Contest will go to Hershey, Pa., where she will compete at the State Fair Association Convention in January 2009 and compete with girls across the state.
The Greene County Fair Queen contestants this year are:
Kelley Morris, daughter of Rick and Sheila Morris of Prosperity. She is 16 years of age and attends Waynesburg Central High School.
Lindsey Longstreth, daughter of Brian and Melody Longstreth of Waynesburg. She is 16 years of age and attends Waynesburg Central High School.
Samantha Sisler, daughter of Sharon Wallach and David Sisler of Rices Landing. She is 18 years of age and attends Waynesburg University.
Annie Bailey, daughter of Robert and Cindy Bailey of Waynesburg. She is 16 years of age and attends Waynesburg Central High School.
