Gun stolen Rodney Walkos of Carmichaels told state police that his .380-caliber pistol was stolen from his vehicle while it was parked in Cumberland Twp. at 3:05 a.m. July 25, police said.

Woman cited

Lisa M. Varner, 33, of Greensboro was cited with public drunkenness and disorderly conduct following an incident in Monongahela Twp. at 10:42 p.m. July 21, state police said.

Man charged

State police said Jason Basinger, 24, of Waynesburg was charged with public drunkenness, criminal trespass and disorderly conduct following an alleged incident at Mountainview Gardens in Franklin Twp. at 9:43 p.m. July 22.

Three charged

Amanda Lynn Wilson, 24, and Veronica Ann Walker, 25, both of Carmichaels, and Melanie Marie Staley, 32, of Waynesburg were each charged with harassment following an alleged incident at Mountainview Gardens in Franklin Twp. at 2:05 a.m. July 22, state police said.

Downspout stolen

State police said someone stole sections of aluminum downspout from the side of the Clarksville Post Office building sometime between July 3 and 17.

Two charged

Tonya Palmer and Tara Johnson, both of Clarksville, were each charged with harassment following an altercation at a Teagarden Homes residence in Morgan Twp. at 9:01 p.m. July 21, state police said.

Vehicle burned

State police said they found a vehicle, believed to be a 4-wheel-drive Geo Tracker, burned along Pitt Gas Road in Jefferson Twp. at 3:10 a.m. July 24.The vehicle was completely destroyed by the fire. Anyone who may have seen anything suspicious regarding this incident is asked to contact State Police in Waynesburg at 724-627-6151. The fire was extinguished by Clarksville volunteer firefighters.

Minor fire

Cumberland Twp. police said the Crucible Volunteer Fire Department extinguished a minor fire in a house at 75 Second St. in Crucible at approximately 6 p.m. July 26. Police said a lit cigarette ignited some insulation in a wall in the home. He said a firefighter used a fire extinguisher to put out the fire and the home was not damaged.

Man injured

State police said Daniel Vernon, 53, of Butler suffered minor injuries when the motorcycle he was driving crashed on Rt. 19 in Franklin Twp. at 10:50 a.m. July 25. Police said Vernon lost control of the motorcycle after he struck a dog that was crossing the road. Vernon, who wore a helmet, was taken to Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, W.Va., for treatment, police said.

Items stolen

State police said three aluminum truck bed extensions that belonged to Morgan Twp. were stolen from property owned by the township between March 1 and July 1. Anyone with information about the theft is asked to call the state police barracks in Waynesburg at 724-627-6151.

Locks damaged

Several locks and doorknobs at the Little Store at 137 Center St. in Clarksville were damaged between 8 a.m. July 19 and 5 a.m. July 27, state police said.

Grates stolen

State police said storm grates belonging to the state Department of Transportation were stolen from a location along Rt. 88 in Monongahela Twp. at approximately 4:40 a.m. July 26.

Person arrested

Artlett Ray Keener, 31, of Dilliner was arrested for public drunkenness for allegedly causing a disturbance on Moffit Road in Dunkard Twp. at 2:25 a.m. July 24, state police said.
