My Favorite Memory
Xavier Wells
Uniontown
I would have to say that my favorite memory is the summer of 2007 when my whole family went to visit my uncle and his family in North Carolina. While we were there, we went to Myrtle Beach and it was very fun. It was the first time I had ever gone to a beach. The sand was hot, the water was cool and the atmosphere was fun. We also went to a seafood restaurant called the Mayflower and the food was very good.
What I like about summer
Joseph Lowry
Uniontown
Summer is my favorite time of the year. School is out. I get to sleep in and stay up late. I get to go swimming and biking, hiking and movies. I get to spend time with my friends and have sleep overs. We enjoy cookouts and spending time with my family. This is what I like about summer.
What I Want To Be
Xavier Wells
Uniontown
When I get older, I would like to be a lawyer and a businessman. I want to be a lawyer because I can argue a point across without stepping out of boundaries. Even when I am wrong, I can still get certain people to believe me without lying. I want to be a businessman because I want to own a line of luxury cars. This may be a lot to handle all
at once, but that’s what I would like to do.
My Favorite Instruments
Chris Durso
Masontown
My favorite instruments are the guitar and drum set. My brother taught me how to play them. He taught me to play the piano and harmonica, too. My brother bought an electric guitar with an amp. He got a harmonica from the school band teacher, and I bought an acoustic guitar. My grandpa gave us his old keyboard, and my parents bought us a drum set. I love all these musical instruments.
Summer
Katelyn Byers
McClellandtown
I like summer, because I get to go swimming. I also like to play outside in the summer. My brother and I love to play outside in the summer. So do my family and I.
My dog
Lacey Myers
Hibbs
I had always wanted a puppy. One day when I was at my dad’s house, my mom came and picked me up and we went to her house. I saw dog toys, a dog bed and other stuff. I was looking around and saw a puppy. My mom yelled for me and I saw the most beautiful little puppy.
He is a German Shepherd and Saint Bernard mix. He has brown eyes and is really fuzzy. We named him Bear because when he sleeps he looks like a bear. So, that is how he got his name. He loves to go on walks, too.
My Dog Maggie
Morgan Medved
Lake Lynn
My dog Maggie is the best. She is a boxer. Maggie is all brown with a little white and black. She is nice to kids but sometimes she gets a little hyper. She also loves to play in our yard. Mag sleeps with me on the bed because she is spoiled. I really enjoy having her as my pet. When we first got her, her old owner said she fell down the stairs because she has a bump on her head. She is still so adorable though, when her ears go up her face gets wrinkly. One more thing: Maggie is the runt of her litter. That is about my dog Maggie.
