‘Run for the Dogs’
Dogwood Acres Restaurant and Bar near Ohiopyle held its 4th annual “Run for the Dogs” motorcycle run to benefit Fayette Friends of Animals No Kill Animal Shelter on July 13. In spite of threatening weather, the event netted more than $5,900 for the shelter. The event has raised more than $20,000 over four years. State police, local police and local volunteer fire departments assisted the group by providing safety.
