Gertrude “Gertie” Kattaron Morabito, lifetime resident of Masontown, Pa., devoted Mother, Grandmother, Sister and Loving Aunt, passed away with her… Gertrude “Gertie” Kattaron Morabito, lifetime resident of Masontown, Pa., devoted Mother, Grandmother, Sister and Loving Aunt, passed away with her children by her side.
Gertie is survived by her husband of 66 years, Guglielmo “Billy” Morabito; children: son, Anthony “Tony” Morabito, his wife Sheila and their children: Tony and Michael all of Columbus, Mich.; daughter, Sandra Estelle Morabito of Painesville, Ohio; son-in-law, Alex Bezjak of Uniontown, Pa. and their children: Becka Bezjak Larkin and husband Tim of Livingston, Mont. and Glenna Bezjak of Avon, Ohio; great -grandson, the twinkle of her eye, Tristan Michael Larkin of Livingston, Mont; loving sister and best friend, Tillie Petcheny and family of Masontown, Pa.; brother-in-law, “Tony” Morabito of Warren, Mich; special niece, Donna Petcheny Vorrasi of Uniontown, Pa. and numerous nieces and nephews.
Gertie was preceded in death by parents, Nicholas and Estania Kattaron, brothers, Jack, Mike and Steve Kattaron, sisters, Mildred, Gotch, Mary Wilson, Kay
Howard, Rose Hoover and Ann Morabito.
Private funeral services are under the direction of STEPHEN R. HAKY FUNERAL HOME, INC., 603 N. Gallatin Avenue Extension, Uniontown, Pa., with Reverend Father James F. Bump, formerly of All Saints, Masontown, Pa. officiating.
