CONNELLSVILLE – A Prospect Street resident is in Fayette County Prison after he allegedly assaulted an 11-year-old at his home. Jerrod J.A. Krienbrook, 18, is charged with a single felony count of unlawful contact with a minor and single misdemeanor counts of indecent assault and corruption of minors stemming from the Aug. 5 incident. According to the criminal complaint filed by Connellsville police Det. Lt. Steven Shaffer, the child told officers that Krienbrook had requested she help him clean the basement.

While there, police allege Krienbrook asked to “touch” the girl in her “Happy Place.”

When she refused, he allegedly asked for her to “touch” him in his “Happy Place.”

Police said Krienbrook denied touching the victim, but allegedly admitted to have “brushed up against her” during the incident.

Krienbrook was arraigned on the charges by Magisterial District Judge Wendy Dennis and remanded to Fayette County Prison in lieu of a $25,000 straight cash bond.

An Aug. 14 preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge Ronald Haggerty has been scheduled in the matter.
