He was born October 28, 1909, son of the late Emil Rechenberg and Valeria Bush Rechenberg.
He was a sheet metal worker for PA Wire & Glass and Fruehauf Corp.
He is survived by his children: Margaret E. Miller-Dawson, Paul Rechenberg and wife, Dorothy of Honey Brook, Pa., Richard Rechenberg and wife, Linda of Dunbar and June Ann Graham and husband, Walter of Farmington; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; one niece and one nephew.
He is predeceased by his wife, Catharine Wishart Rechenberg, brothers, Walter and Arthur Rechenberg, sisters, Margaret Stallbaum and Elizabeth Bailes.
Family and friends will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, August 13, 2008, in the BURHANS-CROUSE FUNERAL HOME, 28 Connellsville Street, Dunbar, Pa. and on Thursday, August 14, 2008, at 2 p.m. in the funeral home with Dr. John K. Sharp officiating.
Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Dunbar Presbyterian Church in Paul’s memory.
