She was born October 15, 1947, in Uniontown, Pa., daughter of the late C. Ray Swanger and Gwendolyn Holub Swanger.
Linda was a member of the Smithfield United Methodist Church.
She was employed as a Home Health Aide for Abby Health Services.
Surviving are her loving family, two children: Penny Proden of Smithfield and her fiancé, Scott Carlier of Point Marion, Pa. and Aaron Ray Proden and wife, Michelle of Galax, Virginia; granddaughter, Bailey Erin Proden; her sister, Nancy Brady and husband, Roger of Smock, Pa. and many loving family members and friends.
The family will receive friends in the DEAN C. WHITMARSH FUNERAL HOME, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa. on Friday, August 15, 2008 from 9-11 a.m. Services begin at 11 a.m. with Rev. Karen Gray officiating.
Interment will follow in the Pleasant View I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Smithfield, Pa.
